A Little Stitching

I began this gorgeous sampler back in 2012 and got a lot stitched and put it away for a start on something else...and there it sat all this time...picked it back up in September of 2018 and completed the missing stitches!  I love it!  The colors are beautiful and I love the Adam and Eve figures.  Don't know what happened with my photography...cut it much too close at the bottom edge 😲

Up next are the ornaments that I stitched for my daughter and two granddaughters. I actually stitched all five of the designs in the chart plus these 3 to give.  But, even though my stitching was finished back in the summer, I only managed to get these 3 finish-finished...

Here are the other 5 that I plan to finish for my display bowl:

And, my 2018 jar of ORTS:

That's it for now.  I have gone through some of my WIP's and pulled one oldie out and have been stitching up a storm on it. I'll have a pic soon.

The Yellow House Sampler and a "few" bears!

I started this sampler way back on January 1, 2013...and finished it this week! A lot of things got me sidetracked...so I got it out and got it going again! It really didn't take too long once I put my mind to it.

Three Finishes for the New Year!

After being away from Blogger for a long while, here I am again!  Just have not been very consistent.  But, I have been stitching!

First off is a very tiny first finish for 2018!  I stitched on 14 ct. Aida as it's a little one. Put the chart away already, but I think it is Snowman by Bent Creek. Will finish as a wee pillow for my bowl. I've stitched this one several times over the years...I just think he is too cute!

Next up is Irish Sampler Pincushion from Nostalgic Needle. This has been in the stash for a long while and finally got it stitched.  I can't find it online, so this design may be OOP.  I think it turned out lovely.  And, it was fun to stitch! It's on 35 count natural linen.

And, today's finish is LOVE (??) from The Workbasket. This one is stitched on 18 count Aida...had the perfect little piece and after stitching, its the perfect size for the way I plan to finish -finish.  (Hope to be back in a few days with that) The thread is Victorian Motto Antique Barn Red. I like the color, but there isn't a lot of variation in the shading.

Is it just me or do the pictures take a long time to load??? I don't remember it taking so long before...
