After what seems like forever, the house is completed, with the red door! I love how it turned out. Not much more, so will continue with this one.
This week was a busy one with appointments, lunch out with a friend, and stitching group on Thursday night. I puttered in the kitchen a good bit as well. I made a "vat" of creole sauce. We ate shrimp creole one night and then froze the rest for later. We had gotten some crab meat, so I made crab cakes for the freezer. It's really nice to have dinner already cooked, so all that's needed is a vegetable or two, and a salad!
I'll leave you with a couple of older finishes. Both of them are hanging in my kitchen.

Love the red door. : )
I have always loved the Carolina Lily design. Your quilt is so pretty. You are so very talented in many areas.
We are starting the SAL tomorrow (I think) if you want to join in.
Blessings always
Your wip is so pretty Mary and I love your quilted piece.
Your "Home of Needleworker" is looking great. Beautiful progress. Beautiful stitching piece in your kitchen. I love the surrounding motifs. :)
Home of a Needleworker is adorable - I may have to add that to my stash! :)
