New Starts

While between projects right before the new year, I picked up A Quaker Christmas and put a few more stitches in.  Before and after shots:

On New Year's Day, just after midnight, I started The Yellow House Sampler.  I've been wanting to do this one for years.  Love the colors and if you look closely, you'll see a tiny Adam and Eve at the top.

Since I just could not wait on Blessings Be Thine, I started it also!  Not much done, but it's a start.  Last night I wasn't too sure of the green, as it wasn't showing up as dark as I'd hoped, but in the light today it looks better.  Any thoughts??  Should I go darker?

Thanks for stopping by!

Those are beautiful, Mary. I have two Quaker patterns I hope to do. Yours are inspiring to say the least!

Two great new starts - we can't always wait to start a new design, can we? Lol.
Nice progress on the Quaker piece.

Very nice progress and beautiful starts. I like the green in Blessings but I tend to go with whatever a designer recommends. Congratulations on finding the pattern also, it's been on my wish list for years.
